Why rhodium-coated glass mirrors instead of chrome on glass or metal?

• Rhodium has the highest reflectance value of any other precious
  metal used on mirrors, making your photos as clear and sharp as possible.
• Riofoto Mirrors are coated on both sides providing 2 mirror surfaces on one mirror. This gives twice the life than one-sided mirrors.
• Riofoto Mirrors are durable. Extra thick glass makes these mirrors surprisingly strong. Metal mirrors might be unbreakable, but they can’t provide the image quality of Rhodium-Coated Glass Mirrors. Can be heat sterilized or autoclaved up to 370°F,188°C.
